Ghana's leading mobile telecommunication network MTN has acknowledged the contribution customers are making to keep the company in business.
The company believes the millions of customers connected to its network remain the backbone of their operations.
The acknowledgement was made based on decades of customer loyalty and cordial relationship that has been existing between them which the company considered crucial to the sustenance of the business.
The company organized its annual customer’s Y’ello soiree in Takoradi in the Western Region to acknowledge and appreciate the clients currently for doing business with the company.
The colourful event which attracted hundreds of MTN customers provided an opportunity for the company to interact with Its business development partners.
Lucky ones subsequently won various gadgets particularly mobile phones and their accessories, led table lights, modems among other respectable internet materials to keep them active in the communication business.
Addressing the customers, Customer Relations Executive of the company, Mrs Jemima Kotei Walsh, noted that the decision to appreciate customers was to strengthen existing ties.

“The objective of the Yello Soiree is to create a platform that enables top leaders of MTN to interact with you and to deepen our relationship”
She explained that through the annual engagement with the customers the company has been able to translate complaints received into innovative ideas to assist in the introduction of quality products and services.
She said the loyalty demonstrated by customers doing business with the organization was beyond measure and ought to be valued by authorities of the telecom giants controlling the greater customer base in the telecom industry in Ghana.
On his part, Regional Senior Manager-South West Business, Simon Amoh, said MTN would constantly apply the right measures required to satisfy customer demands to increase its clientele and to offer quality products to meet industry standards.
"In view of this, MTN is investing $144m into improving network quality and expansion nationwide. In the Western Region, we would deploy mobile network coverage to 28 rural communities by end of 2018.”
In addition, he said "We are optimistic that when this project is completed, the lives of a greater number of people in our countrysides would be a whole lot brighter.
He told the customers to remain committed to the company as the two sides work to further enhance mutual gains and prospects.
"We will continue to revise our strategies to be able to meet your dreams and aspirations," he assured.
