A four-year-old boy has died after his six-year-old brother shot him in his head at Somanya in the Eastern Region on Thursday.
The deceased, Alex Ologo Amanor and his brother were said to be playing in their grandfather's room when the incident occurred.
Joy News’ Kofi Siaw reported that the suspect, Jerry Akuffo reportedly took his grandfather's single barrelled gun and unknowingly shot his brother in the head, killing him on the spot.

Tenants who were present said they heard the sound of a gunshot and rushed out only to find the deceased in a pool of blood.
Police have begun investigations into the incident. The minor and his grandfather are currently assisting police to look into the case.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Atua hospital morgue.
