Nima Professionals, a non-league football club played a highly determined game to hold Cape Coast Venomous Vipers to a pulsating 1-1 draw in a friendly soccer match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah stadium at the weekend.
Vipers indicated their seriousness to carry the day just after referee B.K. Aidoo signalled the two sides into action with midfielder Aminu Bukari scoring the opener in the 14th minute.
Bukari after collecting a pass outwitted two defenders to slot home for the opener.
Vipers continued to probe for more goals but their strikers squandered the chances that came their way.
Nima Professionals in the 30th minute forced the tide in their favour and following series of combinations they initiated from the left flank, outside left, Eyisi Bonney levelled up the scores in the 41st minute.
The second half failed to produce any goals.
