The flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has asked the Mahama led government to bury the late President Mills in his hometown in Ekumfi Otuam, Central region.Speaking to some family members of the late President Mills in the Central region, the PPP flag bearer said a building should also be constructed in Mills’ hometown to honor the former President.Dr. Nduom said burying the former President in his hometown would inspire the natives to great heights as well as bring more tourists to the area.According to Dr. Nduom it would be out of place not to bury the late President in his hometown.Dr. Nduom promised to construct a community center in memory of the late President Mills in Ekumfi Otuam.The burial place of Mills is yet to be decided according to Information Minister, Fritz Baffuor who also said the Flag Staff House as mentioned earlier as Mills’ final resting place, was just one of the numerous suggestions.The funeral of the late President Mills has been slated for August 8-10.
