Without diminishing the shock and pain of losing our dear President Mills, we the Youth of NDC UK/Ireland chapter wish to congratulate our newly sworn-in President His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama as President of the republic of Ghana and his endorsement as leader of the NDC ahead of the 2012 elections.
We assure His Excellency the President of our fullest and unequivocal support in prosecuting the better Ghana agenda particularly so in these very difficult moments we find ourselves.
We are extremely confident His Excellency President Mahama will in partnership with NEC nominate a Vice Presidential candidate who reflects both the present and the future aspirations of our great party, the NDC.
We are absolutely certain, Ghana under the leadership of President Mahama will continue to be a shining example to the African continent and provide opportunities for the youth as demonstrated by our deceased President.
Even as we continue to mourn the untimely and sudden passing away of President J.E.A Mills, our thoughts and prayers are with First Lady, Dr. Ernestina Naadu Mills and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
God bless Ghana, God bless His Excellency President Mahama and God bless the National Democratic Congress.
