The Peoples’ National Convention (PNC) intends to appeal a Circuit Court ruling in favor of a caterer who claims she cooked for about 500 party delegates at the party’s national delegate congress but was never paid.According to the ruling, the PNC owes Beatrice Owusu Afriyie GHS 2,333 - a sum that includes GHS 350 interest and a judgment debt of GHS 1,778.PNC General Secretary Bernard Monah has disputed Beatrice Afriyie’s claim, saying that to his knowledge, the party made no contract with a food vendor for that event. In order to avoid paying debts that he said the party never incurred, Mr Monarh intends to refer the matter to the party’s lawyers who will take appropriate action on the PNC's behalf.
