The New Juaben South Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress is to organize a fund raising rally at Koforidua Legion Hall on Friday.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the Publicity Officer of the party for the constituency, Mr M. M. Doe said the rally was to enable the party to raise campaign materials and funding to start its campaign towards the 2008 elections.
He said the party had the goodwill to win the 2008 elections and the constituency wanted to start its campaign early enough to be able to contribute its quota towards that total victory.
Mr Doe said the branch needed motor-bikes, bicycles, bill boards, flags, public address systems and funds for training and motivation of polling agents of the party for them to be combat ready for the 2008 elections
He called on all supporters of the party to demonstrate their love for the party by donating towards its victory march.
