Lawrence Lartey, defender and captain of the Under 20 side the Black Satellites, is confident that the team's newly appointed coach, Sellas Tetteh, is bent on succeeding for a second time after he lead the team in 2009 to conquer Africa and the World and win the Under 20 World Cup.Ghana will face hosts Algeria in Group A in an opener of the World Youth Championship. The Black Satellites are also drawn against Benin and Egypt in the group for the tournament in March.2011 title holders Nigeria will play Mali, Congo and Gabon as they bid to wrestle the title from the Flying Eagles.
Lartey, an All Africa Games gold medalist in Mozambique in 2011, is poised to make history again for Ghana."My colleagues and I are ready to work with any coach who is ready to achieve and I think 'Borbor' is the man to repeat this feat for us,” he told Joy Sports.
