Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan admits he is under pressure to replicate his rich goal scoring form in the United Arab Emirates league at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. The Ail Ain striker finished the first half of the UAE Pro League season as the top scorer with 21 goals in 13 matches .Gyan scored just one goal for the Black Stars at the 2012 tournament in Gabon and Equitorial Guinea where the team finished a disappointing fourth place.Asamoah Gyan’s low conversion rate was attributed to a hamstring injury he picked up weeks before the tournament started. But the 26 year old is now fully fit and he hopes to find his scoring boots at the Nations Cup in South Africa.“There might be pressure. You know what as I always say, I’m mentally strong and I focus and do my job,” Gyan told JOY Sports.“I scored 21 goals but I didn’t do it it alone. I have so many players who were supplying me with the balls so there might be pressure because people expect you to do more."If you don't deliver then people might say your form is due to lack and that is the challenge. Sometimes it puts a bit of pressure on me."
