The Former President Rawlings’s spokesperson Kofi Adams says he would love to serve the people of Buem as their representative in Parliament but must first scale certain necessary hurdles in that regard.
MP-elect for the area, Henry Ford Kamel died a little over a week ago necessitating a by-election to fill the void in Parliament.
Mr. Adams in an interview with XYZ News said he first needs clearance from the leadership of the party before forging ahead with any intention to succeed the late Volta Regional Minister.
“The rank and file has been calling and we would not disappoint them. We have heard their call but I still have to consult with elders and the party.
“If one is allowed with all these processes why not I would love to contribute my quota to Buem and I would love to serve the people when the opportunity is given” Kofi Adams told XYZ News.
