The Forum for Governance and Justice has waded into calls for Attorney General Martin Amidu to disclose the identity of a colleague Minister of State alleged to be involved in gargantuan crimes against the state.
He also accused the said minister of being behind a smear campaign by pro-government newspapers to hound him out of office.
His accusations have not gone down well with some party members who have called for his resignation.
But Martin Amidu told Joy News he would only resign on orders of the president.
Convener of the FGJ Dr. Clement Apaak told Joy News while he does not endorse calls for the AG to resign he believes his integrity will be very much enhanced by disclosing the identity of the said minister.
