League champions Aduana Stars made a tough start in the CAF Champions league qualifiers in Morocco against Wydad Club.
Three first half goals from Benkajjane and a double from Iajour humbled Aduana Stars in Casablanca.
Aduana had planned a bright start in their maiden African club cup match with the inspirational Herbert Addo leading the lines as Coach.
But this disappointing result means Aduana must score four unanswered goals in Dormaa in two weeks time or face an early exit.
Ashanti Gold, the other Ghanaian club in Africa this weekend beat Ivorian side Sewe Sport 1-0 in San Pedro.
Alhaji Sani’s 14th minute strike was enough to see Ash Gold claim a crucial away win which makes them favourites to reach the next round under new manager Croat Zdravko Logurasic.
Ashanti Gold Captain Daniel Asamoah told Joy Sports his team is happy with the result.
He said the win puts the club in the best position to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
