The IHF Africa Zone 3 U-17 and U-19 women's handball championship continued at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, April 12, for the second day following its commencement on Tuesday.
Day two of the championship saw the Cote D’Ivoire U-17 team record a 27-26 victory over Benin in the opening game of the day.

Ghana’s U-17 team continued their dominance in the tournament as they eased past Liberia with a 52-14 scoreline, their second win in the competition after Tuesday’s win over Benin.

In the U-19’s division, Liberia were far from their best as they suffered a 57-9 defeat to their Beninoise counterparts.
In a keenly contested game, Ghana surrendered a two-goal lead in the first half to lose 29-33 against Cote D’Ivoire.
Day three of the competition continues on Thursday, April 13.
