The odds and predictions appear to be heavily against defending champion Joseph King-Kong Agbeko as he faces Vic Darchinyan in their IBF Bantam weight bout on Saturday.
Boxing pundits in a Showtime poll predicted a landslide win for the challenger, garnering 22 of the 28 votes.
Tony Liang of Eastside boxing lauds Darchinyan's impressive records (32-1, 26 KOs) and tips the 'raging bull' ahead of Agbeko.
But the King Kong (26,1,0) is not the least perturbed. He believes he has the zest to prove critics wrong and retain his title.
In an interview with Joy Sports on Friday, Joseph Abgeko insists he will retain his title with or without a knock out.
He is unfazed at the South Florida venue of the bout, and counts on the prayers of his fans to down his challenger tomorrow.
