The Black Queens are through to the final of the All African games in Congo-Brazzaville after beating Ivory Coast 1-0.
The Ghanaians dictated play against their West African counterparts for large portions of the game and crowned their dominance with a lone goal in the first half through Samira Suleman.
The Queens, who booked their ticket to the semifinal ahead of South Africa by the drawing of lots, put up their best display in the tournament so far.
They could have scored more than a goal had they taken their chances in front of goal.
The Queens will now face Cameroon in the final. This will be the fourth meeting between both sides with the previous three all ending in draws.
The first two games were Olympic Games qualifers where the Camerounians qualified at the expense of Ghana by virtue of the away goals rule with the third meeting happening in the group stage of the All African games.
The tie on Friday will be a search for the gold medallist.
Yusif Basigi's side will be hoping to go one better than the Maputo 2011 squad which claimed silver after losing to South Africa in the final.
