Vice President Papa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur is in the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi to address the 9th Quadrennial Delegates’ Congress of the Trades Union Congress (TUC).
Mr. Amissah Arthur is expected to open the congress, making this his second official assignment since becoming vice president.
Joy FM’s Seth Kwame Boateng, who travelled with the vice president, reported that scores of party supporters clad in party colours thronged the Kumasi airport to welcome him.
Some of the supporters said they are at the airport to see Mr Arthur for the first time.
