Francis Amuzu emerged winner of the Men’s Category A of the 2021 Consolidated Bank Ghana Golf Challenge held last Saturday 25th September at the Bok Nam Kim golf Club in Accra.
Playing of handicap 11, he returned a net score of 57 to win the coveted trophy.
Edward Abrokwah and John Quarshie returned net scores of 63 and 65 to win the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In the keenly contested Men's Category B, 13-Year-Old Michael Nyarko took home the outmost prize
George Amissah come 2nd and Michael Abbey placed 3rd
In the Ladies Category, Mrs. Marlene Tonyigah emerged the Winner and Ms. Daisy Annor Apo and the ever-green Jenny Le Hong came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Deputy Managing Director of CBG, Mr. Thairu Ndungu, thanked all golfers who participated in the competition and pledged the Bank’s support for the sport in the coming years. He announced that the Bank is considering a Golf Academy to get staff to take up the game of sponsors.
He reiterated the Banks value proposition to Ghanaians and admonish golfers to patronise the services of the indigenous Bank,
