Olympic Marseille coach Didier Deschamps hopes Ghana's Andre Ayew sustains his form as the French side push on success in the domestic and continental competitions.
The winger was loaned out last season by Deschamps but has returned a much improved player, earning the praise of his manager.
Andre has scored some crucial goals for Marseille in the domestic league this season and also aided their progress to the knock-out stages of the European Champions League earning him rave reviews from his coach.
“Andre Ayew is in top form at the moment,” Deschamps said on Marseille’s website.“ He scores most of his goals with the head due to his aptitude in cutting the trajectories of flying balls.
"He has a good state of mind. He understands very quickly what he’s asked to do and corrects what needs to be corrected.
“Andre demonstrates strong desire and determination regardless of the opponent. He has great potential. He ought to continue like this, it will give him more confidence for the future.”
