Asamoah Gyan has signed for Turkish club Kayserispor following the expiration of his contract at Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.
The 31-year-old, who has 51 goals for Ghana, completed formalities on Wednesday to end his six-year adventure in Asia.
He will continue his illustrious career in the European country after penning a two year deal with the Anatolian Stars.

The deal is believed to be worth €1.5 million euros annually.
A statement on the club’s website read: An agreement has been reached with world famous footballer Asamoah Gyan to join Kayserispor.
President Dr Erol BEDİR, actor Asamoah GYAN, Gökhan AltıntaÅŸ, Tuna Kaya and our club officials have signed a 2 + 1 year contract with the Ghanaian in the last meeting in Istanbul.
Our president Dr.Erol BEDİR and Asamoah GYAN will move to Kayseri with 21.20 plane tonight.

Three weeks ago, Gyan was on the verge of joining another Turkish outfit Bursaspor but the move collapsed after the club failed to reach an agreement with the former Sunderland striker.
His move to Bursaspor would have seen Gyan earn an annual salary of €1.6m, representing about 84% reduction in the Ghana superstar's salary after earning about $12m per year with Chinese side SIPG for the past three years.
Asamoah Gyan ended the season on loan at UAE where he scored 8 goals in 21 appearances.
