Veteran goalie Richard Kingson and midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah have been left out of Coach Goran Stevanovic’s starting line-up for the Black Stars 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Swaziland at the Accra Stadium on Friday.
Kingston will be replaced by Stromgodset shot stopper Adam Larsen Kwarasey who will be making his debut after completing his nationality switch two months ago.
Italy based Kwadwo Asamoah was dropped after failing to impress the technical team during training which began on Monday.
England based John Paintsil will maintain his traditional right back position and will be joined by Jonathan Mensah and Isaac Vorsah in central defence while Daniel Opare handles the left back position.
Udinese’s Emmanuel Agyemang Badu will start in midfield alongside Ukraine based Derek Boateng, Inter Milan’s Sulley Muntari and Andre Ayew of Olympique Marseille.
Turkey based Dominic Adiyiah and Sunderland’s Asamoah Gyan will lead the attack for Ghana.
