The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has distanced himself from all ongoing and future business transactions involving one Toh You Kang, a Singaporean Businessman.
In a public disclaimer issued on July 7, 2025, Hon. Ashie Moore clarified that Toh You Kang had originally been introduced by Foshan Yuejian Cable and Wire, a Chinese company based in Guangdong, to assist in business facilitation due to his proficiency in the English language.
However, he noted that the same company has since issued a disclaimer disassociating itself from Mr. Toh You Kang.
“In alignment with that decision and the interest of clarity and public awareness, I also formally disclaim any association with Mr. Toh You Kang regarding any business dealings or transactions, effective immediately,” Ashie Moore stated.

He went on to caution the public and all concerned parties that any engagements or agreements with Mr. Toh You Kang would be undertaken at their own risk.
“Neither I, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, nor my affiliated companies and business partners, shall bear any responsibility or liability for actions, representations, or transactions conducted by Toh You Kang,” the statement concluded.
