The Member of Parliament for Weija, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, has been appointed a board member of Ghana Cocoa Board effective 29th July, 2008.
She replaces Hon. Kwadwo Affram-Asiedu who was then Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry and now the Eastern Regional Minister.
Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey, who is also Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, Private Sector Development and Presidential Special Initiatives (PSI) holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and a Masters Degree in Public Communication from the University of Westminster, UK.
She also has a Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and a Certificate in Marketing Management from GIMPA.
