The Black Princesses have boosted their chances of qualifying for the 2016 FIFA U-20 World Cup after beating Equatorial Guinea by 3-0 aggregate scoreline.
The National Women’s U-20 side beat their Equatorial Guinean counterparts 2-0 in the second leg match played at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday after securing a 1-0 victory in the first leg tie played two weeks ago in Malabo.
Lily Niber-Lawrence and Veronica Appiah were on target for Ghana on Sunday as coach Mas-Ud Dramani's side advanced to the third stage of the qualifiers.
The Princesses will now face the winner of the match between Ethiopia and Burkina Faso in the Third round match to book a place in next year's World Cup.
Nigeria will also face South Africa in the other Third round match which will be played between 23–25 October 2015 and 6–8 November 2015.
Winners of the two third round matches will qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea as the CAF representatives.
