Ghana will travel to play Liberia in an international friendly match next month.
The Black Stars will take on the Lone Star on 11 September in Monrovia.
The game will be played just three days after Ghana host Malawi in the first-leg of the final qualifier for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The four-time African champions have been invited to play in the game to celebrate Liberia independence anniversary.
Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says the match will help the Black Stars prepare for their return Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi in Blantyre.
"We are playing Liberia in Monrovia on the Tuesday after the Malawi match in Accra," Nyantakyi said.
Ghana are seeking to qualify for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by South Africa.
