AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng believes that his playing style is similar to that of former Barcelona star Rivaldo. The 25-year-old Ghanaian has developed into a key player at the Rossoneri since joining them from Portsmouth in the summer of 2010, and Boateng has modelled his game on Brazil legends such as Rivaldo and Pele.
"I liked Rivaldo, because I've always thought I have a similar playing style to him," Boateng was quoted as saying on the Uefa website.
"I've enjoyed watching lots of players, but Pele was my biggest hero because he was a black person, he scored so many goals and was so incredibly successful."
Boateng recently returned to match action after a spell on the sidelines due to injury, and the attacking midfielder will be hopeful of making the Milan starting XI for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final clash at home against Barcelona.
