The Reverend George Kwame Acheampong of the Adum Ramseyer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Kumasi, has urged the Church to mobilise resources to help address the physical needs of the people.
The sacrifice Jesus Christ made to bring salvation to mankind should motivate Christians to do more to promote the general good of society, he stressed.
Rev. Acheampong said in a Good Friday message that the huge number of Christians in Ghana, had well-positioned the Church, to raise more funds to support the construction of schools, hospitals, orphanages and other social services.
He reminded Christians to accept to live in total peace and harmony with all regardless of ethnicity, religion or economic background.
He said Christ's death should strengthen the resolve of mankind to eschew discrimination, corruption, greed and hatred.
