The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has raised concerns about reports of armed thugs threatening, harassing, and forcefully ejecting civil servants from their officially allocated residences.
The incidents have been reported in areas including Roman Ridge, Labone, Ridge, Kuku Hill (Osu), and Cantonments.

“We unreservedly condemn this barbaric and primitive act by these armed thugs, purported party apparatchiks, and ‘goro boys,’” said Isaac Bampoe Addo, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG.
He further called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and other security agencies to ensure the protection of civil servants' lives and properties in the affected areas.
Mr Addo also urged the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the sale of government properties and take immediate action to halt these unlawful activities.
