The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana is warning against attempts to coerce its members into other trade unions.CLOGSAG says following the recent transfer of some 30,000 civil servants to the Local government service, unions such as the Local Government Workers Unions are misinforming some of the affected workers that their membership with CLOAGSAG ceases.CLOGSAG says this is an unfair labour practice and that it will resist any such attempt.The Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, Isaac Bampoe said the workers have a constitutional right to choose which workers’ association they want to belong to.Source: Joy News/Ghana
