The FA Cup Committee have announced that the the MTN FA Cup final would be played on July 24, 2011 at the Accra Sports Stadium.The grounds will host the final showpiece of the Cup competition between Asante Kotoko and FC Nania.Kotoko, winners of the last Cup final a decade ago, on Wednesday booked their place in the finals after defeating Wa All Stars in a penalty shootout.Second-tier side, FC Nania, would attempt to make history as the first side to win the MTN FA Cup and just like Kotoko, sealed their place in the finals through the penalty lottery.The Division One campaigners beat premier league champions, Berekum Chelsea last month, 5-3 on penalties at the Baba Yara Stadium after the match ended 2-2.The winner of the final will play in next season’s Caf Confederation Cup.The FA Cup, Ghana's oldest cup competition has recorded 12 different winners since it started in 1958.Source: Ghanafa.org
