Local Black Stars assistant coach Dauda Lutterodt says his side is set for a 2016 CHAN qualifier against Ivory Coast at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The home based Black Stars camped in Obuasi for three weeks before moving to Kumasi on Wednesday to finalise their preparations.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu, who travelled to the USA for the Black Stars v Canada friendly, has rejoined the team ahead of the game. Ghana is chasing a fourth appearance at the competition and a good result in the first leg will set the tone for qualification to yet another CHAN tournament.
“Going into the game on Sunday, I can confidently tell you we are well prepared for the Ivorians,” he told Joy Sports
“My head coach wasn’t around but because of technology we were always in touch and we communicated very well as to the team’s progress.
“We have worked out everything so just wait and see what will happen on Sunday when we take on the Ivorians.”
The team will play Ivory Coast on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
