Some health facilities across the country are to receive power generators to enable them continue to deliver healthcare to patients during power outages.
This gesture is being spearheaded by telecommunications service provider, Tigo Ghana to support the facilities.
Head of Mobile, Tara Squire, disclosed this during the presentation of prizes to the first batch of winners for the “yensor nkoaa” promotion in Accra.

The promotion which was launched not long will see customers walking away with 90 power generators in the next 90 days.
Tara Squire said 20 customers will walk away with amazing prizes ranging from generators, power invertors, rechargeable lamps, power banks, fuel coupons and airtime today.
“In total we are looking at rewarding one hundred and forty customers every week and our presentation will be on a weekly basis,” he explained.
“We look forward to giving you more of these items as the weeks go by. He also emphasized that simply all we are asking customers to do is to use their pre-paid Tigo line to make calls, send text messages, and browse the internet or top up their airtime in order to reach their target.
Each of these activities will be converted into points which will contribute towards their targets”.
Tigo customers need not to register for the promotion as each of them will be given daily, weekly or monthly targets.
Mr. Squire used the occasion to advise customers to always keep their phones active .He emphasized that if you win and efforts to reach your line proves unsuccessful we will move to the next person.
