Ghanaian-American creative, Emmanuel Agbeble, who is singlehandedly documenting Afrobeats from AM to PM to the rest of the world through photography and videography, has touched down in Ghana after his enviable work on Stolen from the Gold Coast.
Emmanuel aka APM World came down purposely to give us a December to remember and photogenic memories to hold on to throughout 2024.
“My latest press images over the Detty December period, centred around my stint for ‘capturing moments that will live beyond event dates, says APM World Mag, showcasing Stonebwoy’s Mega Concert and the Afrofuture.
As the latest album title of the headline artiste at the 2023 Afrofuture, Emmanuel undoubtedly wants his press images to live on and become 'Timeless.'
BET Award-winning superstar, Stonebwoy, delivers his eagerly awaited 5th Dimension Homecoming Edition at the 40,000-capacity Accra Sports Stadium.
This is the first time the Afro dancehall sensation has officially announced a climax of his European tours in Ghana by forging a merger between his annual BHIM Concert and Ashaiman To The World annual ritual.
He also wraps up the tour of his 5th studio album, “5th Dimension”, which was released on April 28th via UMGSA/Def Jam Recordings.
“5th Dimension Homecoming Edition”, amassed more than 240K views with an early snippet shared by Stonebwoy via Facebook, produced by APM World Mag and comes with an official video directed by Kay Studios.
Shot in Accra Sports Stadium, the video features 360 aerial shots of the stadium, Stonebwoy’s epic entry, the lighters and miming, the emotionally charged environment and everything else in between.
With respect for blessings and connection to his roots, Stonebwoy paid a courtesy call on Osu Sei Tse and National Chief Imam in a lead-up to the early awaited 5th Dimension homecoming edition.
“The homecoming represents a symbolic mark that will solidify my ability to reach greater dimensions, with the number five embodying my attainable growth. After that stadium shows….” Stonebwoy hinted.
On the homecoming, APM conveys a message of setting ambitious yet realistic goals, through flickering lenses, apparel and inspiring performances.
The "5th Dimension Homecoming Edition" becomes a standard concert that encourages patrons and people of colour to avoid imposter syndrome mindsets and aim high while appreciating their roots.
This feat serves as a constant reminder that each milestone, no matter how small it appears, contributes to the grand scheme of success.
Late last year, Stonebwoy made history with his sold-out show at the 40-capacity Accra Sports Stadium. Becoming a standard for a well-organised and incident-free event, the Afro dancehall superstar commanded a crowd of more than 40,000 fans, including celebs like 10tik and Jamaican dancehall artist Jahmiel, who also joined Stonebwoy on stage for a special performance of their hit song “Slow Motion.”
Highlights included a performance of his newest single “OVERLORD” where the crowd belted every word to the Afro dancehall’s massive hit while fireworks lit up the sky.
Stonebwoy therefore reached a new height with a climax of the home coming of “5th Dimension” marking his highest tour debut to date.
Home of Afrofusion Singer and Songwriter, Bnxn fka Buju, received a fair share of Sincerely Bnxn in Flytime Lagos on the heels of powerful performances in Tanzania and Uganda on Dec. 1 and 2 respectively.
These compelling photographs also took the front row on the social media platforms of Stonebwoy, Davido and Buju, becoming his three consecutive works in the happy holidays.
These photographs were selected as favourites with additional praise from media platforms having eyes on Africa
