The Wa police have arrested a former general constable of the Ghana Police Service while two of his accomplices are on the run.
Ernest Koranteng, 30, was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob an officer of the Ghana Prisons Service, Sergeant Isaac Adams of his Loujia motorbike.
Ernest Koranteng was sacked last February for misconduct and has since petitioned the police administration over that dismissal.

Two of the men held a rope on both ends of the rope which he rode into and was dragged off the motorbike. The suspected bandits then attempted to pick the Luojia motorbike, but the victim pounced on them and a struggle ensued.
