The MTN FA Cup committee has fixed 17th August 2012 for the awards ceremony which is set to be held at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.Players and officials of participating clubs will be rewarded with awards like player of the tournament, coach of the tournament and among others to be presented to deserving individuals.“Everybody who is done a good job, i.e. players, officials and those in the football industry would be rewarded duly”. According to Kurt Okraku who is a member of the MTN FA Cup committee“Some of the players and match officials were very good and I’m sure that the FA Cup committee will again deliver a good job”.New Edubiase won the FA Cup for the first time in the competition's history on Sunday when striker Ibrahim Moro's second-half goal secured a 1-0 win over AshantiGold.
