Organisers of the re-introduced MTN FA Cup have confirmed December 15 as the kick off date for the preliminary matches of the competition.
112 sides would be involved in the competition which would witness a total of 111 games.
Ninety-six clubs made up of 48 each from the Division One and Division Two leagues would commence the competition in the preliminary round.
Premiership sides who would be all seeded would join in at the round of 32 stage.
The Ghana Football Association last month signed a GH¢3 million package with telecommunication company, MTN for the sponsorship of the FA Cup.
The competition would receive an annual package of GH¢1 million of which GH¢900,000 would be in cash with products of the sponsor taking up the remaining sum.
The FA Cup by its tradition always involves clubs from all tiers of the Ghana league system playing against each other for the ultimate trophy
