Two confirmed dead with several others injured in an accident involving a Toyota Highlander and an Urvan passenger car on the Techiman Sunyani road.
The accident which occurred at about 11:05 a.m Thursday is believed to be as a result of overspeeding by the driver of the Toyota Highlander on a curve near Nsuta, a suburb of Techiman.

The 2016 New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Kintampo South Constituency, Alexander Gyan is said to be on board the Toyota Highlander heading towards the regional capital Sunyani for the Council of State elections.
He, however, had minor injuries and is been attended to by health professionals at the Holy Family hospital.

Over ten others are in critical condition and are responding to treatment at the Holy Family Hospital. The two deceased persons, yet to be identified, are also at the hospital’s morgue awaiting an autopsy.
