An articulator truck loaded with cartons of milk tipped Thursday, December 17, on Ring Road near Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Accra.
The driver of the truck with registration number GT 1921 B, Baba Awudu and his mate were headed towards the Kwame Nkrumah interchange when the incident occurred.
According to the driver, the goods were expected to be offloaded at a warehouse close to the interchange.

While on the Ring Road, the car developed a mechanical fault and in the process of going off the road to park, the vehicle overturned.
The driver and his mate who were stuck in the truck were rescued by passers by.


After offloading the goods into another car it was towed away.
The shaken driver, blamed the accident on the poor nature of the road.
