The four African representatives for the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015 learnt their fate on Monday, 23 March 2015 following the draw conducted in Dakar, Senegal
With the xception of African champions, Nigeria, the three other representatives, Senegal, Ghana and Mali had to wait for the draw to know their groups.
Ghana’s Black Satellites were drawn in Group B alongside Argentina, Panama and Austria; ‘Les Lionceaux’ of Senegal in Group C with Qatar, Colombia and Portugal whilst the Eaglets of Mali will battle it with Mexico, Uruguay and Serbia in Group D.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will contend with Brazil, Korea DPR and Hungary in Group E.
The draw was conducted by Rhianon Martin, FIFA Senior Competitions Manager and assisted by Felipe Restrepo of the FIFA Competitions Division.
The final tournament will be held from 30 May to 20 June 2015 in New Zealand.
