About 587 delegates are choosing who to represent the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu South constituency.
Deputy Finance Minister Fifi Kwetey and five others are challenging the incumbent MP Albert Ziga at the Evangelical Presbyterian church premises at Agbozume where the event is taking place.
The primary was postponed during the nationwide parliamentary primaries of the NDC in anticipation of a split of the constituency.
However the constituency was not divided.
Meanwhile Fifi Kwetey told Joy News he is confident of victory and dismissed accusations of vote buying.
