A former District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region burst into uncontrolled tears on radio over alleged NDC neglect.
Tony Nyame who has been battling a chronic aliment since he was sacked over a year ago, says no party official or member has shown concern.
He tells Nhyira FM’s “Kro Yi Mu Nsem” he feels betrayed, and regrets sacrificing his life for the party when it was in opposition.
Mr. Nyame was NDC’s Regional Propaganda Secretary who represented the party in parliamentary election in Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency in 2008.
“In fact l wish l don’t talk about it anymore…how do you feel when a former DCE like me at a point in life l have to go for an introductory letter from a friend to go borrow money from a bank before l could afford medicine prescribed for me. O God, it’s sad”, he lamented.
Mr. Nyame particularly cites his current successor, Nana Kwabena Nkrumah, for being responsible for his woes.
The DCE denies the claims.
