Asante Kotoko Midfielder Frank Boateng says he is not perturbed with the club’s decision of releasing him before the new season starts.
The 27 year old joins Afranie Yeboah, Mohammed Sabato, John Kufuor and six reserve players who have been shown the exit as the team continues with plans to build a squad that can defend their Premier League title.
JOY Sports sources indicates that some of the players had themselves put in requests for their release by lack of playing time while others wanted the cancellation of their contract with the club to enable them move on.
Frank Boateng who played for sporting Mirren before joining the porcupine warriors two seasons is already looking elsewhere.
“I have received calls from other teams but I’m yet to decide on my next move”. He told JOY Sports
“This is not new to me because I have been transferred before so I’m ok and the only thing I have to do now is concentrate on my future”.
