The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that Zambia will be Ghana’s opponents in a friendly leading up to the next World Cup qualification match.
Ghana will play Zambia at the Matchroom Stadium (also called Brisbane Road), the grounds of English League One side, Leyton Orient on 12 August.
Milovan Rajevac will use the game as part of the Black Stars’ preparations for the African qualifying for the 2010 World Cup which resumes in September.
The Black Stars, sitting top of Group D, five points clear in the qualifiers play against Sudan at home.
Zambia, now managed by former Ghana physical trainer, Renard Herve will also use the game to prepare for their impending World Cup qualifier.
The Chipolopolo’s are still challenging for a place in South Africa as they remain third in their group after having missed out of all previous attempts to the World Cup.
