National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayesu Ntim has commended the leadership of the ruling government for leading Ghana from the brink of despair to economic recovery.
According to him, during global health crises, including Covid-19, the government worked hard to come up with measures to make the country more manageable and relatively better to serve the needs of all Ghanaians.
Speaking at the manifesto launch on August 18, he acknowledged that although Ghana was not out of the woods yet, significant progress had been made.
"Under the visionary leadership of the president, Ghana has risen from the brink of despair. We are on the right path, from where I sit, towards economic prosperity and have embarked on far-reaching institutional reforms for good and accountable governance within a stable democratic society," he said.
Mr Ntim also said that the party has delivered on its Free Senior High School policy, established STEM and TVET schools, implemented mobile money interoperability, and launched Agenda 111, among other achievements.
As such, he appealed to the electorates to grant the political mandate to the party's flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
