Three Ghanaians were on the scoresheet on Tuesday as cup and league matches were played in England and Italy respectively.
The pick of the goal scorers was youngster Joe Dodoo who scored on his home debut for Leicester at the King Power Stadium against high flying West Ham United.
The forward opened the scoring in the sixth minute to score his fourth in the competition. Incidentally, it was his fourth shot taken in the Capital One Cup, too!
He calmly slotted the ball into the net from 10 yards as he profited from a flick on from Leandro Ulloa.
The goal followed the impressive hat-trick he bagged against Bury in the second round. The game ended 2-1 in favour of Leicester after extra time to see them progress to the fourth round.
Fellow Ghanaian Jeffrey Schlupp also made an appearance in the game at the King Power Stadium all be it as a substitute.

Elsewhere, Christian Atsu made his second start Bournemouth and lasted for 80 minutes as the Cherries scrapped a 3-2 penalty win over Preston North End while striker Jordan Ayew was a half time substitute in Aston Villa’s 1-0 derby victory Birmingham.
At the Riverside, Albert Adomah bagged a brace for Middlesbrough as they trounced Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0.
The winger who turned in a transfer request earlier in the summer after a fallout with coach Aitor Karanka opened the scoring after applying the finish to Carlos De Pena’s cross.
Adomah wrapped up proceedings with his personal second and Boro’s third after some delectable play from Carlos De Pena yet again.

In Italy, there were no Cup games.
The Serie A saw Emmanuel Agyeman Badu strike, but his Udinese team failed to mount a comeback, falling 3-2 to giants A.C Milan.
The energetic midfielder fired a loose ball in the box beyond Diego Lopez’s reach to pull a goal back for Udinese who were trailing 3-0.
Duvan Zapata fetched a second but that was not enough to earn Udinese a share of the spoils.
