Party stalwart and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, says Ghanaians are eager to see the party in power in 2016.
Mr Kyerematen said this in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM.
'Alan Cash' also stated that Ghanaians are fed up with the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government due to their mismanagement of the country's economy.
Ghanaians are eager for “constructive and forward looking leadership” from the NPP, Mr Kyerematen said.
He added that former President Kufuor's better management of the country for eight years shows what an NPP administration can do when given the mandate to govern again.
Mr. Kyeremanten, who has declared his intention to contest the Presidential slot of the party, however noted that it does not matter who leads the party in 2016 but “how we work together as a unified party to come back into power in 2016."
