The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has conferred an Honoray Law Doctorate degree on Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.Mr Jonathan who is in the country on an official visit, was the Special Guest at the Golden Jubilee anniversary of the Ghana Institute of Management And Public Administration.The Rector of GIMPA, Prof Yaw Agyeman Badu read citation accompanying the award, saying President Jonathan is an icon of exemplary leadership in Africa.
“Your spirit and tenacity, wisdom and integrity are the integral values which have underpinned your unparalleled achievements and enviable accomplish,” Prof Yaw Agyeman Badu read a portion of the citation accompanying the award.President Mills congratulated his Nigerian counterpart and was grateful to GIMPA for recognizing the good works of President Jonathan.Play the attached audio for excerpt of the citation
