Gemini Life Insurance Company (GLICO) has launched its 25th anniversary celebration with a promise to ensure prompt payment of claims and playing a meaningful role in Ghana’s insurance industry.
GLICO a leading privately owned insurance company in Ghana is now a 'one-stop company that provides for all insurance, protection, savings, retirements and other financial services needs.
Over the past twenty five (25) years, GLICO has expanded its core business from solely insurance business to include a unique range of financial services and real estate products by establishing GLICO Financial Services and GLICO Properties.
The insurance company has also strategically launched the Glico Pensions Trustee Company in furtherance of its mission a pioneering role in the insurance and financial service industry.
Speaking at the silver jubilee launch of the company, the Executive Chairman of the GLICO Group, Kwame Achampong-Kyei commended the management of the company for helping him make the dream a reality.
“Today, GLICO Life, a leading private-owned life insurance company, is not only synonymous with excellence but has also become a household name in the country with its customer base enlarging year after year”.
He said the company in its 25 years of existence has contributed its quota to the development of the nation mot only in the payment of taxes and employment but also through commitment to its social responsibility in areas of education, health, environmental protection, social welfare, sports among others.
Mr. Achampong-Kyei thrilled about the massive achievement of company said GLICO would continued to stand tall at the tree which has blossomed and given seeds to grow the other companies.
“The task ahead is challenging, competition is becoming keener every step of the way but we are capable of surmounting every challenge that comes our way” he added.
GLICO commenced business on December 15th, 1987 as a specialist life insurance company and has since become one of Ghana's leading life insurance organization of great repute.
