The senior National Tennis Team, the Golden Rackets, are safely back in Ghana after participating in the Africa Zone Group III Davis Cup held in Marrakesh, Morocco, from the 3rd to 9th May 2010.
The team managed to defend its Africa Zone Group III status but was unable to qualify to the Euro/Africa Zone Group II stage.
Morocco and Tunisia were the countries that qualified to the Euro/Africa Zone Group II stage out of the 16 African countries that competed in the 2010 Africa Zone Group III Davis Cup.
The contingent arrived in Ghana on Monday 10th May 2010 and they included four players namely Henry Adjei Darko,
Salifu Mohammed, Emmanuel Mensah and Owusu Mensford.
David Churcher and Kobby Brew were the officials who accompanied the players to the games.
