Government through the Interior Ministry has declared Wednesday, September 21, as a public holiday.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery said it is to commemorate the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
He thus urged it is observed nationwide as such.
“The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 21st September 2022 which marks Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” the statement urged.
