Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan will be unveiling and presenting his ‘special package’ to the Black Queens team on his birthday, November 22.
Gyan will be hosting another A-list party at his Basilica de Baby Jet residence when he turns 30.
The Shanghai SIPG ace will be using the special occasion to redeem a pledge made to the national women’s team for their historic gold-winning feat at the 2015 All Africa Games.
“There will be so many things going on at the party and there is a surprise I will give to the team [the Black Queens],” Gyan told AsamoahGyan3.com.
“My birthday will be on the 22 of November and I have invited the Black Queens to deliver my special package to them.”
Asamoah Gyan recounted the interaction he had with the Black Queens team prior to the commencement of their campaign at the All Africa Games in Congo, Brazzaville where he was touched into making a $10,000 donation to the team.
“First of all when they [Black Queens] came to the camp, we had dinner and everything was ok,” he recalled.
“We were cracking jokes and they were happy to see the Black Stars players but I was so observant and I was watching their reaction.
“I saw sadness on their faces and I could see they were not happy and therefore I had to ask what was going on.

“There I was told what was going on in their camp which I don’t want to talk about but all that I will say is that the players were very very sad.
“And as a footballer I don’t like to see a fellow player being sad.
“After the donation you could see the joy on the faces of the players and all they said was that they were going to win the cup.
“At that moment you could see that their spirits at that moment was very very high. So I also felt it, I felt so felt they were going to win the cup.
“There is always a reason. Maybe I would say I was their guardian angel because most of them wanted to leave the camp because they were not happy.
“We give thanks to God and yes, I have got a package for them. I would do what I have to do to also show appreciation.”
A series of donation will precede Gyan’s big birthday bash on November 22 as tradition through his Asamoah Gyan Foundation.
The foundation which recently made a donation to the Ghana Blind Union – Suhum Sector – are however yet to determine targets for the donations.

“It is good to give back to the community and we plan to do some donations too,” Gyan added.
“The Asamoah Gyan Foundation have been doing great things and we will be doing some this time around.
“I will sit with my team to determine where these donations will be made.”
The former Sunderland striker’s love for music is well publicized and he will be using the occasion to also launch his musical band.
“I will be launching my band, my musical band because everyone knows I have a passion for music,” he said.
“I would want everyone to come to listen to good music too.”
